International Air Show Maribor ´08 (IAS Maribor´08), dedicated to the first Slovenian pilot Edvard Rusjan´s first flight 99 years ago, is going to take place June 13th, 14th and 15th this year at the Maribor International Airport.

IAS Maribor´08 is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Maribor Aeronautical Centre and the 30th anniversary of Maribor Airport. As such, it is the largest annual aeronautical event of its kind in Slovenia with more than 100 participating aircrafts, with international military, civilian and Slovenian Armed Forces participants. It has special importance due to the Slovenian presidency of the European Union in 2008.
