Independence Day celebration in Raton, New Mexico consists of an exhibition of hot-air balloons over a three-day weekend. The 4th of July holiday includes early-morning balloon acsensions, night-glows, parade, street dance, crafts and great food.

The entire community joins together to provide one of the best home-town July 4th celebrations which is topped off with a stunning fireworks display presented by the Raton Fire Department. Enjoy an old-fashioned 4th of July celebration while seeing the wonderful historical and scenic sites in the area.
