Famous for some of its unique balloon competitions; The Colorado Rat Race, Dawn Quixote, and Target Tubing, the Snowmass Balloon Festival is by far, one of a kind. Situated in the Elk Mountains of Colorado, Snowmass boasts one of the most colorful balloon festivals in the world, as the timing coincides with the peak of turning of the aspen trees during the fall colors season.

Take I-70 to Glenwood Springs, CO, go south on Hwy. 82 to Brush Creek Rd. Turn right on Brush Creek Rd., go approximately 2.5 miles to Snowmass Village Town Park
