The Leon International Balloon Festival is currently the biggest and most important rally in Latin America, and one of the most renowned around the world. The FIG featurs 200 hot air balloons and pilots from 15 different countries that are seen by over 400,000 spectators.

If you are coming from México City, you will get into León through the Blvd. Aeropuerto; before getting to the road distributor Jean Paul II, continue on the right lane to get to the bypass (also known as Blvd. Morelos) continue all the way to the Metropolitan Park, site for the Balloon Festival.
