GREAT NEWS! We are NOT cancelling our event and very excited to bring you a SAFE Kiwanis Indiana Balloon Fest 2.0 at the Monroe County Fairgrounds, Bloomington, In. We've been working hard for months in hopes of not being another cancelled event on your calendar this year. It would have been the easiest option BUT we wanted to still bring our beautiful balloons to you in September. This awesome one day FREE event will give you a chance to get out of the house, see amazing hot air balloons, shop balloon-themed merchandise (online with event pick-up), participate in virtual events during the day - including a scavenger hunt to win prizes, A-N-D an opportunity to get your favorite Fair Food via our drive-thru! This Drive-Thru event will be an event not to be missed sooo Mark Your Calendars! Please share this information deep and wide - We look forward to seeing Y-O-U on September 12th! To keep you informed, starting with this post today and continuing to the day of the event, we will be posting important messages. We will post pictures of pilots / balloons, an event schedule, answers to frequently asked questions, more specific details about the drive-thru event, and ways you can make donations (large & small) to make this event possible. Note: Morning balloon launch at 7:30 am - Evening balloon inflation at 7:00 pm with a Glow at 8:00 pm - Fireworks at 10:00 (Reminder: Drive-Thru event / Remain in your car)
